I was grieving the loss of someone. Somewhere in the despondence, I found a speckle of gratitude. The perpetual feeling was my mind’s attempt at saving me. It said, this is too heavy for you to suffer all at once. It will kill you. So I am going to spread it over weeks, and months, and years because I love you too much to lose you as well.
